Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: March 11, 2026
1. Pro Monthly Subscription
Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro Monthly subscription at any time from your Account Settings page or by emailing billing@motorcalc.io.
- ▸Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- ▸You retain full access to all features until that date.
- ▸You will not be billed again after cancellation is confirmed.
- ▸Your account data and calculation history remain accessible until the period ends, then your account transitions to inactive. You may reactivate at any time by subscribing again.
Refunds
Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun, as you have immediate access to all features from the moment of payment. Exceptions apply in the following cases:
- ▸Duplicate charge: If you were charged more than once for the same period, we will refund the duplicate amount immediately.
- ▸Billing error: If a charge was made in error (wrong amount, wrong date due to our system fault), we will issue a full refund of the erroneous charge.
- ▸Extended service outage: If MotorCalc was unavailable for more than 72 continuous hours in a billing period due to issues on our side, we will issue a prorated credit to your next billing cycle.
Refund requests for other reasons are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. We are committed to being reasonable.
2. Lifetime Access — One-Time Purchase
14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 14-day full refund on all Lifetime Access purchases. If you are not satisfied with MotorCalc for any reason within 14 days of your purchase date, contact us at billing@motorcalc.io and we will issue a complete refund — no questions asked.
- ▸Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.
- ▸After the 14-day window, Lifetime Access purchases are final and non-refundable.
- ▸Upon refund, your account will be deactivated and access to MotorCalc will be revoked.
What "Lifetime" means
Lifetime Access means access for the operational lifetime of the MotorCalc product. This includes all future features and updates. In the unlikely event that MotorCalc is discontinued, we will provide at least 12 months' advance notice and offer a prorated refund calculated from the date of the discontinuation announcement.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email us at billing@motorcalc.io with:
- ▸The email address associated with your account.
- ▸Your Stripe payment receipt or transaction ID (found in your billing confirmation email).
- ▸A brief description of the reason for your request (for Lifetime purchases within 14 days, no reason is required).
We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and complete the review within 5 business days.
4. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks issued without first contacting us may result in account suspension while the dispute is resolved. We will cooperate fully with your payment provider in any dispute investigation.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here and communicated by email to active subscribers. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
